The British Museum

On Sunday (of my weekend in London) we toured the British Museum, which is not remotely British. Well, there is a section on British history however the museum is so large (and poorly designed) that we never found it. What we did see however, was The Rosetta Stone, several Egyptian mummies, pieces of various Greek Parthenon sculptures and much, much more. In fact, the museum contained so many Egyptian artifacts that my boss (who will be traveling to Egypt in September) and I joked that her Egyptian tour guides are going to have to end every sentence with, "...and now it sits in the British Museum."
