A Christmas Quiz

Christmas 2007

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper and big bows!
2. Real tree or Artificial? My family always had a real tree growing up, however Blake and I have had an artificial (pre-lit) tree for the last two years and it really is the way to go!
3. When do you put up the tree? The Day after Thanksgiving
4. When do you take the tree down? Before New Years
5. Do you like eggnog? gross...
6. Favorite gift received as a child? I had lots of great gifts as a child. I can remember a very large, pink Barbie doll house and a key board in particular.
7. Hardest person to buy for? Blake...he is SO picky.
8. Easiest person to buy for? My little cousin, Karli
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Three
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? I love to mail Christmas cards...speaking of that I need to get to work on them!
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Um...I have gotten a few but I don't want to hurt any one's feelings so I won't say.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? It's a Wonderful Life
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? This year November. In 2006 I had it all done by August.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I don't think so. I have recycled wedding gits as Christmas gifts.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Red & Green Peanut M&Ms and my mom's breakfast casserole
16. Lights on the tree? pre-lit tree - white lights
17. Favorite Christmas song? Carol of the Bells
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? we will be at our parent's houses in Cleburne
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Probably not
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Neither...our tree is decorative so i have some flowers and berries on the tree top
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? You have to wait until Santa comes, so it was always Christmas morning (as early as we could get mom and dad to get out of bed)
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? The temptation to get wrapped up in the gifts and decorations and to forget the true meaning of Christmas
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Red and Gold
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? My family has Mexican food on Christmas day..yum

    I am with you on the wrapped gifts with bows. Ripping through paper is so much more fun on Christmas morning!

  3. Hope we can make arrangements to come see your tree and all your decorations. I admit that I didn't put everything out this year. Just ran out of time. But I do like our new 9' tree.
