Painting

Last week we hired a painter to fix the trim on the outside of our house. Oh the joys of owning an older home. This was not one of those projects that would get a "wow" from the before and after pictures, however it was necessary and I am very happy with the results.



I am the most happy about the removing of an old, ugly awning from the side of our house. I forgot to take a before picture and the only picture I could find of the old awning was on the day it snowed last year and the quality isn't so great. Sorry. Horray for a fresh coat of paint! Just in time for Spring! So crisp and clean!

    It is amazing what a fresh coat of paint will do to brighten the look of a house. Even when you don't change colors. It really looks nice! It is like getting just a trim haircut can make all the difference in the appearance.
