We are mostly moved into the new house. This is a rather odd statement as our garage is still FULL of boxes. However, all the things we need on a day to day basis have found their way into the house. We have painted, painted and painted some more. Then, we hired someone to come in and do some more complicated work and paint. Now, the house itself is mostly organized, clean and livable. The hot tub is still broken but who the heck wants to get into a hot tub in this heat?! And, I am realizing that we don't have near enough furniture for this house...so many empty spaces! We did however, purchase our first bedroom suit. I am so excited! It is being delivered Sunday morning! (I know right, what a weird delivery time!)
So...on to other things...
4th of July weekend was all work and very little play. The only fun thing we did was to go to the Ranger's game with family. It was fun and the fireworks were great!
The week after the 4th of July we took vacation from work to get all moved into the house. Again, all work and no play. However, we ended our week off by taking our annual trip to the Stonebriar Westin in Frisco. There was good food, company and pool time! Oh, and a little shopping (smile).
So this week it was back to work, school and to celebrate another birthday. My "little" brother turned 21 Thursday! Such a big day! We went to The Chophouse to celebrate, as is our tradition with 21st birthdays. The food was wonderful!
